This one here folks is the Burren. That’s a quite huge karst landscape (300 sq km) which lies NW of Co Clare Ireland. The area is filled with megalithic tombs, deserted villages from the times of the famine and the like… you get the picture.

Taken September 2009.

Such a strange little tower as if grown out of that building which has fancy new windows…

Perhaps it is the local Martello tower 🙂

Taken in Bucharest, close to the Anglican Church

Out of place

I don’t know what’s so scary about contorted tree branches but they certainly are important characters of horror movies! No idea who put that branch there. and no idea how the seaweed got there in the first place. Just a glimpse of how little dark things can creep, from beneath the waters,  into everyday sunny life on Ireland’s West coast. Galway, May 2007.

Lonely chairs

If you click on the pictures, you will see that the chairs are chained…

Taken in Bucharest, in 2006. They are in a little park between the building where i live and the next one.  NOBODY ever sits there and I have never seen them moved aside, even one centimeter…

A slice of the Smithsonian

Ah the creepiness of walking alone through museum halls with their strange little objects, and lights… Defo a new dimension of energies! Today, a slice of the Smithsonian, taken in 2008 March I believe: enormous butterflies, birds from other worlds, elephants and crystals.
